Located in the south-east of Malta, by the sea, this fishing village is a MUST-SEE

If you are coming to Malta on holidays, make sure you visit the authentic village of Marsaxlokk for an insight into our way of life and local culture.

The most characteristic image of this place are undoubtedly the Marsaxlokk boats: small colourful boats called Luzzus that decorate the harbour and give this village a unique charm.

You will not find two identical luzzu’s as their decoration is so personal to the artist who painted it!

We advise you to visit Marsaxlokk on a Sunday. This is the day when the village is most lively and animated. In addition, on Sundays you can enjoy the Marsaxlokk fish open market, where you can see the locals selling their fresh fish.
